What’s Ahead at FSGA: Winter Conference, New Communities & Football Season
Dear FSGA Members,
As summer gives way to one of the busiest times of year for our industry, there's no better time to stay engaged with your FSGA community. Whether you're preparing for another football season, planning ahead for our 2027 Winter Conference, exploring new member communities, or taking advantage of the latest research and resources, there's plenty happening across the association. I'm excited to share a few highlights and a look at what's ahead.
I'm excited to officially ask you to save the date for the 2027 FSGA Winter Conference, returning to Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Feb. 23-24, 2027. Our Conference Programming Committee is hard at work developing another outstanding agenda, and we'll continue updating the conference website as speakers and sessions are confirmed. I hope you'll make plans to join us!
One of the priorities that emerged from the 2026 FSGA Summer Conference and a successful Women in Sports Networking Meetup, was creating more opportunities for the women of FSGA to connect throughout the year, not just at our conferences. That's why I'm thrilled to share the launch of our first special interest group community, Women in Sports Gaming, which provides a dedicated space to network, share ideas, and support professional growth. You can join this community by clicking through, logging in, and clicking the Join the Women in Sports Gaming Community button. This is only the beginning, and we're already planning additional special interest groups to help members build meaningful connections around shared interests and professional roles.
Speaking of member resources, don't forget that both of our 2026 research reports are available in the FSGA InfoHub. If you haven't had a chance to review The Fantasy Sports & Sports Betting Landscape: Exploring Fantasy & Betting Habits, with a Dive into AI and Prediction or Beyond the Bet: The Rise (and Reality) of Prediction Markets, I encourage you to do so. Just click on the links and log into your FSGA account. Both reports join a growing library of industry research available through the FSGA InfoHub.
I also want to thank everyone that joined us for the FSGA Member Meetup at Fantasy Football Expo 2026. We were happy to welcome over 50 registrants and industry professionals, creating another valuable touchpoint in between FSGA conferences to strengthen our community. Special thanks to our sponsors, CBS Sports Digital, RubinBrown, Underdog, and Zerohash, for helping make the gathering possible.
Behind the scenes, your Board of Directors continues advancing FSGA's long-term strategic plan. We're not just planning for the Association's future. We're working to help shape the future of the industry by identifying where FSGA can lead, convene stakeholders, and advocate for initiatives that help our members succeed.
And finally, with NFL kickoff just around the corner on Sept. 9, I have one question: the FSGA Expert Leagues have already completed their drafts ... have you? If not, National Fantasy Football Draft Day is officially recognized on Aug. 21, so next week is the perfect time to sharpen your strategy and get ready for another exciting football season - my family-and-friends-league will be drafting that day! And good luck to many of our fellow members and colleagues that will be gathering at Draft Nation 2026 at the Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Aug. 20-22, to pick their teams. With poolside drafts, celebrity drop-ins, and more, it’s going to be where fantasy football becomes a Vegas weekend!
I look forward to seeing what the coming months bring and, as always, thank you for your continued support of the FSGA.
Warm regards,
Brandon Loeschner
Chair, FSGA Board of Directors
