Dear FSGA Members,

Registration is now open for the 2027 FSGA Winter Conference, Feb. 23–24 at Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. I hope you’ll join us for the conversations, connections, and ideas that make this gathering so valuable. Register before Jan. 11 to receive the lowest early bird rate.

Those connections matter between conferences, too. Our recent FSGA Member Meetup at G2E drew more than 65 registrants and gave members a chance to reconnect and meet new industry players. I encourage you to keep those conversations going in our FSGA Communities. They’re a place to ask questions, exchange ideas, find collaborators, and stay connected throughout the year.

We’re also expanding the reach of FSGA research. Members will continue to receive first access to new reports. After three months, reports will become available for nonmembers to purchase; after three years, they’ll be available to the public. This approach preserves a meaningful member benefit while giving more people, including news outlets, access to FSGA’s insights. I’m excited about the opportunity to bring our research into more industry conversations and strengthen FSGA’s voice across the industry.

Congratulations are in order for this year’s FSGA Experts League Baseball and Golf champions.

• On the diamond, our winners were:
  • Champions League - Steve Gardner & Howard Kamen of USA TODAY Sports/Advance Local
  • Senior Circuit League - Ed Bunnell & Rick Wolf of GameDay Sports Network
  • Junior Circuit League - Erik Schmollinger of RosterLords
  • Cactus League - Greg Fay of ScoreOnScore
  • Best Ball League - Erik Halterman of Rotowire

The winners will receive championship rings at the Winter Conference. Meanwhile, Senior Circuit, Junior Circuit and Cactus League winners also earn promotion to the Champions League next season.

Congratulations as well to our golf champions: Jordan Daniel of Fantrax won the Champions League, while Josh Harvey of CBS Sports Digital claimed the Augusta League title.

Limited space remains in the upcoming FSGA Basketball Expert Leagues, which will draft on Oct. 20. If you’re interested in joining, please reach out to Digger Turnbull - who does a great job managing all our leagues - at digger@gamenightsports.com.

A big thanks to Extreme Fantasy Football (EFF) for its sponsorship and continued support of the FSGA Expert Leagues. These leagues give members another reason to follow every game. It’s an exciting way to connect with one another and share FSGA’s work more widely.

Thank you for being part of the FSGA community.

Warm regards,
